By encouraging participatory and site-specific exhibitions, artists are encouraged to directly engage with the challenges and differences that become apparent when engaging with an exhibition space in the public realm. The public engage with the work in a new way, that is far from the limiting experience of the institution.
Gallery No.32 is developing a grassroots creative scene, championing talent by presenting artists at various stages of their career alongside the work of celebrated UK and international sculptors. An indispensable network is being built that is providing a support system, and a springboard for those involved.
